In short
Turner Duckworth is a brand design studio with offices in San Francisco, London and New York. Its work lives on shelves, storefronts and phones rather than in portfolios, and its own line is that it is almost impossible to go a day without seeing it.
In 1998 it took a brief from Jeff Bezos and created the Amazon smile, the arrow that runs from A to Z, then saw the packaging opportunity nobody had asked for. It simplified Coca-Cola’s visual identity down to the colour, the script, the bottle and the ribbon, and has run a creative and strategic partnership with McDonald’s since 2017, extending the Golden Arches into a custom font and every touchpoint. It also created Levi’s modern Batwing, rebuilt Subway’s identity around the original 1965 signage, and worked with Metallica for more than a decade.
Large consumer brands that need a simpler, more distinctive identity built from assets they already own will get the most out of it. Product UX and website builds are not what the studio does.
