DYODE is an Orange County Shopify Plus agency, based in Fullerton and founded in 2016 by Tim Katz and George Mikhail, who spent two decades running ecommerce inside retailers such as PacSun, Tilly's and GUESS? before switching sides. That operator background shows in how it sells: fixed packages like a 90-day roadmap, a replatforming verdict or a subscription buildout, next to builds, CRO, paid media and email. It sits at #10 on our Shopify list.

Its clients are mostly retail and consumer names, among them Invisalign, Glenmorangie, Ardbeg, Ridge Wallet, TB12, GreenPan and Satechi. AG Jeans got a Shopify Plus store with live inventory sync to its shops and buy-online-pick-up-in-store. WYZE moved to Shopify Plus in under 12 weeks with no downtime, bringing its camera subscription plans across. Bandai Namco is the exception: DYODE put its Elden Ring, Dragon Ball and PAC-MAN storefronts on BigCommerce.

Retail brands with physical stores, inventory systems and internal politics to manage will appreciate a partner whose founders have sat in the VP of ecommerce chair. Brands deciding whether to replatform at all can buy that decision as a standalone project. DYODE does not list identity design among its services, so a company that needs a new name, logo or brand system should commission that elsewhere first.
