Guerilla Suit
East Austin branding agency behind Rambler, Hat Creek Burger Company, Ziegenbock and the SXSW festival themes.
Why choose Guerilla Suit?
Trusted by Whataburger, Academy Sports + Outdoors, SXSW and other leading companies.
In short
Guerilla Suit has been a branding agency on East 7th Street in Austin since 2010, and its name describes the split it sells: creative work on one side, business sense on the other. Strategy, naming, identity, packaging, campaigns and signage all sit with the same small team, and Texas runs through nearly every project. That mix of brand and packaging puts it at #7 on our Austin list.
Rambler, a Texas sparkling mineral water, got its name, identity, packaging, website and launch campaign from the studio. When Karbach took over Ziegenbock, Guerilla Suit redrew the packaging around the beer's old German motifs. Hat Creek Burger Company, with more than 20 Texas locations, had its logo, type, colours and website refreshed. The studio has also set the visual theme and wayfinding for SXSW each year since at least 2021.
Food, drink, restaurant and hotel brands in Texas are the natural fit, from a founder starting from zero to an established name being repositioned; Franklin Barbecue, the Albert Hotel and an Academy x Whataburger collection are on the same roster. Its project form starts budgets at $50K. A software company needing product UX or an app interface should look at a product studio instead.
